Additional Information
Sometimes refered to as "USB On-The-Go" (OTG) the mini connector on this lead allows connections to be made to small form factor devices such as those listed above. Whilst the standad USB A connector at the other end allows the device to be connected to a normal USB socket on a PC/Mac/Laptop. There are several different types of mini USB connectors dependant on the number of Pins used but each have a different shape which makes them relatively easy to identify.
USB 2.0 is the latest USB standard which supersedes the slower 1.1 version which could only carry data at 12Mbps compared to the 480Mbps of USB2. However USB2 is backward compatible and can therefore be used with USB1.1 devices although transfer rates will revert to the 12Mbps of the older standard.
